# API changelog

> Changes to the REST API, MCP server and webhooks.

**November 2026**

v1.2

* **Discovery:** real prospect search, company autocomplete, person lookup and email verification in REST/MCP, using the app's account limits and credits.
* **Intelligence:** saved-lead research in REST; enrichment, research, scoring and email drafting in MCP.
* **Workspace:** role/plan-gated workspace actions for templates, briefs, ICPs, sequence controls, inbox classification, mailbox health and outbound statistics; edits require confirmation.
* **MCP:** AI assistants connecting to `https://api.outreign.io/mcp` now receive sign-in details for that exact address. Clients such as Grok and Cursor that previously reported `failed_to_load` should reconnect.
* **Docs:** every endpoint now has a description, request and response examples, and documented error responses with rate-limit headers.
* **Docs:** added [capabilities by interface](https://docs.outreign.io/developer-docs/capabilities.md), [core concepts](https://docs.outreign.io/developer-docs/concepts.md) and workflow recipes.
* **Docs:** added detailed prospecting, verification and intelligence guides, server-side client examples, an agent quickstart and production/webhook recovery checklists. New MCP tools require the corresponding app revision to be published; refresh connector discovery afterward.
* **Hosts:** the API and MCP server are served from `api.outreign.io`; documentation moved to `docs.outreign.io`.

**October 2026**

v1.0

* REST API for leads, deals, activities, contacts and AI email drafts.
* MCP server with 15 tools for leads, sequences, replies, deals, ICP profiles and the AI SDR agent.
* Outbound and inbound webhooks for lead and deal events.
* The legacy `workflows` resource returns `410 Gone`.
