# Sales workspace actions

> Use existing app actions for targeting, campaigns, inbox triage and mailbox health.

REST: `POST https://api.outreign.io/rest-api/workspace/actions`, authenticated with `X-API-Key`.
MCP: `workspace_action`, authenticated with your authorized OAuth session.

Both call the same app agent-workspace handlers, with ownership, plan and optional agent-build role checks. These actions do not directly send email. Resuming sequences or mailboxes can permit later automated sending; review before confirming.

Optional `agent_id` (UUID) restricts the call to that owned build's role/custom tool list. Without it, account-level tools are capped by your plan. Unknown actions, unknown argument fields and caller-supplied ownership fields are rejected. Arguments are limited to 16 KB; request rate is at most 30/minute in addition to API/MCP plan allowances.

Read actions return results immediately. Edit/refresh actions return `confirmation_required: true` and an exact action/argument preview without changing anything. After the user approves that preview, repeat it with `confirmed: true`. Do not set confirmation on a first call or reuse approval for different arguments.

Lists/fields use the app's existing limits and validations; successful transport does not imply a successful action. Inspect `error`, `success`, `confirmation_required` and returned data.

Reply classifications: interested, meeting\_request, not\_interested, objection, out\_of\_office, referral, unsubscribe, question, other. Plan exclusions still apply: Starter cannot use sequence enrollment actions that require Growth. Optional agent role restrictions can further narrow access.
