https://api.outreign.io/rest-api and keep your API key on your server. These actions reuse the app’s account checks, search pipeline and verifier.
1. Search the B2B network
leads and any error/error_code, even with HTTP 200. The response uses the app’s search-candidate fields such as contact_name, company_name, business_email, company_domain, job_title, scores and email-verification labels. A missing email remains missing; it is not invented. Continue with the returned next_cursor when present. Searches are not automatically saved.
Paid search is free of reveal credits, but counts against your app daily-search meter. Your current plan further caps results; limit: 200 cannot override Starter’s 25-result cap. relax is off unless explicitly requested; do not silently broaden the user’s targeting.
2. Check an email, if needed
verified: true confirms a mailbox. invalid means rejected; catch_all, role and unknown are unconfirmed, not green lights. No message is sent and no reveal credit is charged. Checks share a 10/minute and plan-sized rolling daily allowance across API, MCP and agent chat.
3. Save explicitly
Map the selected candidate’sbusiness_email to contact_email; map company_domain to company_website only when an actual domain was returned. Use POST /leads with contact_name and company_name to save the approved record. Keep saved record IDs separate from provider search identifiers.
Then call POST /leads/{id}/enrich, /research and /score as needed. Enrichment and known-person lookup use the app’s one-credit reserve/refund behavior. Read the saved lead again to inspect persisted changes.
Equivalent MCP workflow
Callsearch_prospects, optionally verify_email, then create_lead, enrich_lead, research_lead, score_lead and generate_email. These tools do not send outreach. Ask the user before any sequence enrollment or reply tool. Reconnect after publication if the assistant has cached the previous catalog.
